Here are some of my responses to some of the questions you may have started asking yourself.

Q1. Are you being honest with yourself?

I find the concept behind this question fascinating.

Who is the me considering whether I am being honest with another part of me? How many me's and I's are there?

Q2. Are you often wearing a mask to hide what you are really going through?

Not often. But I do know if this is the definition of wearing a mask, that it is wise to keep some of my thoughts to myself until I have found someone who I know it is safe and beneficial to share those thoughts with.

Q5. Are there certain painful experiences you've had in your younger years that you'd never been able to share with someone?

If something comes up which I realize I've only talked to myself about, I know that in friends like Paul, Kevin and Marijke, I've found people I can share these things with, as they arise.

Q11. Is your sleep often disrupted and you don't know how to stop this?

I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of nights I've had trouble sleeping this year. I'd love to share my secret with you if you need help in this area, even if you don't choose me as your consultant 😉.

Q12. No matter who you have in your life, do you find yourself feeling lonely or lost?

If I do, I talk to myself. If I still do, I talk to someone like Kev, Paul or Marika.

Q15. Do you sometimes feel like you want to give everything up and start something simple?

Who doesn't? That's why God created Saturday's.

Q18. Do you fear showing vulnerability to your peers?

Not anymore, but I am continuously, dynamically assessing who to share what with and when.

Q19. Do you battle with imposter syndrome?

Less than ever, and only in my internal space. There's no external space I'm intimidated by.

Q23. Are you yearning to experience true inner peace?

Always and when I found it, I told God, “I want to stay here.”

Q28. Do you want to be totally free, but you don't know how to be free?

I know how to be free, and so if I reach a point where some part of me feels like I'm not, I keep seeking until that part enjoys freedom too.

Q29. Do you just need someone to talk to?

Not when I don't need to.

I share all this for the glory of the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, Eternally Begotten of Him.

How About You?

Have you been able to relate to anything I have shared from my life?

Would you like someone to talk to?
